TAB Leadership Awards Nominations Due April 22, May 3

- Pioneers, Legends, Rising Stars, Stations of the Year and More!

Success and quality in Radio and Television are driven by passion, ingenuity and creativity from leaders and colleagues at every corner of a station and now is the time to step back and recognize those mentors, pioneers and even younger colleagues who are knocking it out of the park and could be the leaders of tomorrow.

TAB’s leadership and “whole station” awards include new categories for individual awards, the introduction of Radio Station of the Year and TV Station of the Year, and the long-running Bonner McLane Public Service Awards (three Radio, three TV – all by market size).

They’ll all be presented Aug. 8 at the TAB Show’s closing Awards Gala – Texas broadcasting’s biggest celebration under one roof!

Nominations for the following leadership awards are due April 22:

  • Pioneer of the Year
  • Radio Broadcaster of the Year
  • TV Broadcaster of the Year
  • George Marti Award for Engineering Excellence
  • Jason Hightower Award for Broadcasting Excellence (One Radio, One TV)
  • Steve Pieringer Award for Outstanding Valor in News Coverage.
