Our “web first” philosophy will have you writing newspaper style for the web as well as writing and editing packages for television. Versatility is the name of the game with this position that will require you to gather information, write, edit local stories, and create fresh content for our web channel. The job will be full of opportunities to report on air and on the web channel, as well as fronting your stories live on the set and in the field. We’re a tapeless, non-linear newsroom with multiple remote live capability so be prepared for a fast-paced environment. You’ll be expected to bring a fresh, enterprise story that you can deliver each day. If you are ready to generate interesting, LOCAL stories and be a team player in the #1 News department in the market this may be your next job. A college degree in Broadcast Journalism or its equivalent is preferred. You must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
