KSWO-TV is looking for a Weekday Newscast Producer. Responsibilities include selecting, writing, and showcasing all stories for nightly newscasts; reviewing stories for accuracy and ethical standards, and assisting News Director as needed. Qualified candidate must be detail oriented with the ability to meet deadlines and must work well with others in a fast paced, high stress environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are imperative. A degree in broadcast journalism and/or previous AP or News Production Assistant experience is preferred; valid driver’s license required.
