I feel the communication skills and confidence I've developed while on the sales frontline and in the media business has prepared me to address any kind of customer challenge while making a significant contribution to organizational growth and profitability. MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS: 1.Consistently exceeded monthly sales goals from 21% to 67% for the last year with Republic. 2.Recognized as top performer for specialty sales promotion in July 2007. 3.Covered Dallas Cowboy, Dallas Maverick, Dallas Star press conferences while at the Ticket. 4.Recognized as the Outstanding Loan Counselor twice in four months at Homecomings. 5.Promoted from Loan Specialist to Loan Counselor after four months. 6.Produced pre and post game shows at ESPN radio for Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, Texas Rangers and Dallas Stars. EXPERIENCE: March 2007 to Present Republic National Beverage Company Grand Prairie, TX Sales Representative in Retail Wine Division Currently, I manage around 100 retail accounts in Garland, Richardson, Rowlett, Murphy, Wylie and Sachse. These accounts include Wal-Mart, Albertson's, QuickTrip's, CVS's and independent convenience stores. I sell special promotions, floor and aisle displays to key decision makers like store managers and store owners. Also, I try and increase existing shelf space by installing wine end-caps at larger stores like Wal-Mart and Albertson's. I interact with national account sales people to execute national account plans for my grocery stores and larger chain convenience stores. I constantly prospect for new customers and set up the new stores once their TABC information is in our system. August 2006 to March 2007 SportsRadio 1310 The Ticket Dallas, TX Reporter/Producer (Part-time) While working part-time for the Ticket, I produced the Sports Saturday and Sunday shows. In addition, I produced and operated the board for the Dallas Stars and Dallas Mavericks Post-Game Shows. As part of my responsibilities, I conducted locker room interviews for both the Mavericks and Stars after practice and home games. During football season, I covered the weekly Gary Patterson press conferences at TCU as well as Cowboy, Maverick and Stars press conferences and practices. After recording the press conferences and interviews, I prepared all audio cuts for use in Ticket Tickers and live shows. October 2005 to Augsut 2006 HomeComings Financial Dallas, TX Loan Specialist/Loan Counselor As a loan counselor, I transitioned delinquent homeowners to current loan status. This involved problem-solving personal financial issues, counseling them on a good financial planning, negotiating new terms and tailoring an individual plan to bring their account current. The work demanded extensive phone conversations and persistent follow-up. Averaged a 95/100 on balanced scorecard. My initial job as a Loan Specialist involved responding to inbound customer calls, making outbound calls to follow up on payments and processing payments. Finally, I consistently exceeded performance targets. March 2001 to October 2005 103.3 ESPN Arlington, TX Sportscenter Anchor/Producer/Board Operator Started out as an overnight board operator. Promoted to on-air commentator doing sportscenter updates during overnights and later during Sports Night with Chuck Cooperstein plus Dallas Cowboy and Dallas Maverick pre and post game shows. I later was promoted to producing all of the above shows. This required heavy multi-tasking skills given I interacted with the callers plus the host while giving directions and running the board. Producing also included weekly staff meetings to set show direction and content. Working as a team was also critical in this environment.
